Tegan is a PhD student who studies the Australian environment using satellites. She has previously tutored school students and knows how difficult it can be to access educational support - that’s why she started LEAP. In her spare time Tegan loves hiking around Tassie and spending time with her dog and cat!

Secretary, School and Advocacy Coordinator (he/him)
James is a post-graduate student at UTAS studying geospatial science. James has a deep passion for learning and reading, especially about our natural environment. It is this passion for learning which has driven him to be involved in LEAP - to ensure that everyone has equal opportunities for learning and that nobody is left behind in our education system.

Treasurer, Partnerships Coordinator (they/them)
Darcy is an educator based in the Huon Valley. Cultivating a positive relationship to learning from the very beginning is an essential focus of their work as a Primary School teacher. Darcy is a graduate of Swinburne University in Victoria with a Bachelor of Education (Primary) specialising in English.

Public Officer, Marketing Coordinator (he/him)
Jared is a geophysics PhD candidate at UTAS, specialising in Antarctic research. He has a passion for science outreach into classrooms, and cultivating a positive attitude and mindset to learning. Jared has spent much of his time in Tasmania involved in school visits, and now aims to work with LEAP to improve equal access to educational resources for all.
